I'm not dead!
Hi everyone, I know that no one likes these posts, but I think this is necessary. I haven't posted for months, and I don't want people to think that I quit. I am still alive and I'm trying to keep up with the hobby still. There are many reasons for not posting including junior year (awful), a concussion, and just more stuff going on in my life. Luckily, winter break is coming up and I should have something new up by then. There are two things I've made that I haven't gotten around to posting yet and I plan on making something new over break. Stay tuned, because something new should be popping up in late December. Until then, thanks for reading.

+bow Review
Just a quick post here. The person who commissioned me, Danny, did a great lengthy review on the +bow he received from me. He also did a review on my old double rainbow that he bought.
Here's the link since I can't get the video to work on here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJF4zS_QuDA .
Thanks for the review!

+bow 3
Long time no post. With the start of school I have been busy and couldn't get around to posting this. Anyways, this is the third +bow that I made and I decided to do it in video form. All of the information on it should be in the video. Sorry for the 480p. I filmed it in 1080p, but had exporting issues.
I have another RBpistol coming up. Not sure which type of post to make that one either since it is also my third one of those. Give me feedback on what you think of the video. Thanks for watching.

ESLT 2
I got a commission from a friend to make one of these for him, so here it is. This post won't be very long since I recently did one on an ESLT.

Apoc Recap
Wow, that was awesome. I had never made it to a war before and let me tell you, this was way better than I expected. I expected wars to be awesome, but this was just mind-blowing. Apoc definitely lived up to its hype and more. Here are the pros and cons that I posted on NerfHaven:
That summarizes a lot of what happened. Langley (Phil) did a great job of organizing the rounds. He explained everything very well and it went without a hitch. I got to play a lot of 3-15 Deathmatch, some freeze tag, a round of carpe, and a bunch of speed rounds. Sadly I had to leave early before they played ultimate core penetration which was a lot of people's favorites. I did really well in Deathmatch and only got out once. I shot a lot of people in deathmatch too which was pretty awesome. I used the same primary the whole time and so did my friend. I used my bullpup and he used my ESLT.
They both held up extremely well with no problems whatsoever. I had a great rate of fire and I seemed to be outranging a lot of people. I could stand far enough away so people wouldn't hit me and I could hit them just fine which made them mad, but they complemented my shots. I'm not sure why I was outranging people because everyone was using k26s and stuff. A lot of people were using surprisingly short barrels which might be a reason. Another reason might just be that the pink foam held up better in the rain and everything than other foams. They kept a nice tight fit in the barrels and the other foams deteriorated. Since I had to leave early and was in a rush to get out so my friend and I left darts in our barrels. Below are some darts that I accidentally brought home.
I learned some stuff from these darts:
- The other red foam did not hold up well in water
- LGLF's blue foam rocked
- Grey foam can actually be good unlike I previously thought. I guess frost kind just sucks.
- White foam is white beige foam but it is easier to find.
- My foam is the same as MHA foam and silicon domes fire out of my barrels just fine without cornstarch.
I found that I didn't need to bring as many darts as I did. I played just fine picking up darts from the field and firing them. I only had a few times when I ran out of ammo and I picked up enough to finish the round. Dartsweeps went well because the pink foam was easy to find. Speaking of darts there was a blaster that held hundreds. I'm pretty sure it is called DAT Hamp and I think it was made by PBZ. I filmed a video of it because it was so cool.
Back to the gametypes. Deathmatch was really fun and it was cool to play it with so many people. Freeze tag might have been my favorite because it is people just running around like crazy and shooting everyone. Carpe was cool because I got 3 balls in the beginning from the middle of the field, but I never got any on the other team's side. My speed round team rocked and stayed in 5 rounds or something like that without losing. Playing all these gametypes with some people who have been doing this for years was great. I'd say Shoopy probably wins MVP because he was just amazing, especially in the speed rounds. Another awesome thing that happened was the motivational speech given by Langley and Chops before Zerg Rush. Wow, it might have beaten out the speech from Independence Day.
This is a Titan that I bought from Nick. I can finally shoot my Drac rockets really far.
This is the $5 Longshot that I got from hoongfu. Meeting everyone for the first time was awesome. I finally got to meet people that I've talked to online like Kronos and Zach, LGLF, some Facebook people, and NerfHaven guys in general. Talking to people about making homemades and stuff was great. I had a nice conversation about the Bullpup design with Xellah which was cool and I talked to Aeromech about double rainbows. Overall, Apoc was just awesome and it lived up to the hype and more. Thanks to all the people who helped organize it and made it so great.
Above is a picture of me behind Xellah's crossbow and below is the group shot. I'm surprised they got everyone into the group shot.

Things to come
Hi everyone, I once again have a lack of content. My summer has been busy and I have been going a lot of places. Just so people know that I have things coming up, I am doing a small update with some other stuff.
Expect to see:
- New style ESLT
- Revamped +bow
- New version of bullpup closer to MIG's original design
The new style ESLT was actually in progress before Ryan released his new 1.5 stl files. Luckily, I had only started ordering the parts. My new ESLT should have been finished a week ago, but I ran out of printer filament and the shipment took over a week. I am now away so I can't work on it now. I decided to revamp my +bow when I realized it was lacking in terms of other +bows. I won't say everything that I am doing to it, but it will have some new things and it will look better. Both the ESLT and +bow will be finished by Apoc because I finally get to go to Apoc! I'm really excited to get to a war and meet people who make homemades like me. The ESLT will not be going with me to Apoc because it is for a friend.
Commissions:
I'm accepting commissions until September. If you want me to make you a homemade, part for a homemade, or 3d print you something, let me know. I am no longer modifying anything* so it is just homemades.
Other stuff
I already covered that I am going to Apoc. That should be fun. The other thing I want to say is how crazy this summer has been with homemades. With the homemades contest, there has been a plethora of writeups ranging from snaps to complicated rainbow designs. If you want to build a homemade, now is the time to build one. I went into building homemades with the main writeups being the original +bow, snapbow, pumpsnap, and Ryan's rainbowpump. Now there are so many different variations of these and so many writeups that coming into the world of homemades that you would have to spend far less time with trial and error and the like. If only I started a year later... Anyways, that's all I have for now.
*With the exception of my Crossbow and possibly a LS.

Just going to leave this here...
I will have real posts coming soon-ish. You can probably expect another ESLT and maybe even the Crossbow!

ESLT
Well, I guess it is just an LT since it has latex tubing and not an extension spring. Anyways, this is my ESLT.

Lo siento
Hi everyone, sorry (lo siento) for not being here for a while. I went on an 11 day trip to Costa Rica so I couldn't work on anything including my ESLT. Lo siento is sorry in Spanish for those of you who don't speak it (I was speaking a lot of spanish in Costa Rica). Anyways, I'm back and you should see the ESLT in a few days. Sorry to keep you waiting so long.

Quick Sale and Update
Hi everyone, I know I have had these things up for sale, but I decided to post them again with lowered prices.
First up is this double rainbow. It works very well and gets standard homemade ranges. I would keep it if I didn't have my bullpup and rainbowpump (I have too many homemades). I'm selling this for $50 shipped, but that means you will have to assemble some parts. It is basically just screwing the pipes together and it takes almost no skill to do that. I have an instructional video on how to put it together too. If you want the full blaster with no assembly required, it will cost $60 shipped. I can also include a hopper with a barrel and everything for $10 extra.
Next up is my snapbow. This was the second snapbow that I made and it works very well. The seal needs to improvement, but that would be very easy. I'm selling it for $30 shipped with the stock detached. It doesn't come with the hopper like in the picture, but you can add a hopper to the order for $10.
Now that school is over, I will be able to work on projects again. I plan on making an ESLT first, maybe another version of my bullpup, and of course I will modify my crossbow. My biggest hope for the Summer is to build a homemade clip fed blaster. This will be of my own design and it might incorporate some aspects of other homemades that I have made. Hopefully I will also be able to design some 3d printed parts for it to make it really cool. Oh yeah, I'm probably going to Apocalypse too.

What is this?
I was scrolling through the NMW page and I found this.
I know it isn't based off of my writeup because that was just released very recently, but I think this was based off of my first version. I mean look at this thing. It has the 1.25" plunger tube with a 1" priming tube. I did post my first version 6-7 months ago and I posted the video on it 6 months ago. Both of these things were very in depth and they explained the mechanism in detail. I feel like this guy must have based it off of my design. I just got really excited when I saw this because I've wanted someone to build my simplified version of MIG's design for so long. What do you think about this? Do you think the guy designed this all by himself or do you think he saw my video and post and based it off of that?
Update:
I talked to the guy who made this and he said he hadn't seen my design. I think it's pretty cool that we both thought of the same concept even though mine was half a year ago. I like how people are starting to branch out on homemades and they are making more unique ones.

3d Printed Barrel Holder
Here's a quick post. As you know, I got a 3d printer. So far I have just been printing things that other people have designed. After making the writeup for my bullpup, I realized that it really needed a barrel holder. I took it upon myself to design a barrel holder for it.
I'm not very good with 3d design software, so I decided to start off with something simple like this. I think it turned out very well and it improves the blaster by a lot. The barrel is now very stable and I can now shoot more accurately. Not only that, but I don't have to constantly adjust the barrel. I just have it friction fitted on right now and it works perfectly.
I printed it at 300 micron resolution with 10% infill. Because of the low resolution, I had to sand the inside a little bit. After minimal sanding I got it to fit. For my first 3d designed part, I am very happy with how it turned out.

Writeup posted!
My writeup for my bullpup homemade is posted below my 3d printer post. I kept saving it as a draft and that is why it is behind. Sorry for taking so long with it. I hope to be able to get the writeup on NerfHaven for the contest too.

3d Printer and Kronos Wye
I have a 3d Printer! This means that I can print parts that I need instead of making them all myself. Not only that, but I can print very complex things and things that don't even have to do with Nerf.

Bullpup V2 Writeup
Before I start this writeup I need to ask you for some help. This is just the "test writeup" that I'm posting before it goes on NerfHaven. If you can think of a name that is not already used for a bullpup, that would be great. Also, let me know if there are any problems or if I go into too much detail or not enough. Thanks.
Here is the writeup for the bullpup. This blaster does take time to make, but if you have used a scroll saw and a dremel before, you will be fine. Since this blaster involves using those tools, it will be in the +bow category.

A sneak peek.
It turned out that I didn't have the materials for the crossbow and since I had a limited amount of time, I built this.
I'm not going to give any more details because there is going to be a video and a writeup for it. It is a new version of my bullpup though. Stay tuned!

What should I make?
It has come to that time when I can start working on a project. I have a lot of things that I want to do, but only have time for one.
Options
- Improved bullpup with a writeup
- Expanded hornet tank with homemade shell (mostly pvc and some polycarb)
- UMB tank in a Longstrike or Firefly
- UMB tank and expanded hornet tank in a Longstrike or Firefly
- Crossbow overhaul
Which one should I do? Please let me know in the comments because I can't decide.

Update
I know updates are really boring and no one reads them, but I think they are better than not posting at all. I am extremely busy right now and I have had no time for anything. I've been at school for 13 hours a day due to sports and other things and I have been overloaded with work. However, in a few weeks I will be on break and I will be able to work on some things that I have been wanting to work on. The first thing is an expanded hornet tank and the second is a UMB tank thing. I can't decide what I am going to do with these yet, but they are going well. I'm even considering putting them in the same blaster. Expect to see those finished in a few weeks.
I am also selling my Double Rainbow and Snapbow. The Double Rainbow is being sold for $80 (feel free to make offers though) and my Snapbow for $35-$40. They both work great and the Snapbow only needs the seal to be tightened. The Snapbow will not include the hopper or barrel. Let me know if you want a barrel or hopper with either of them. Just email me at Drev453@gmail.com, comment below, or pm "Drev" on NerfHaven if you are interested in either of these.
