My Recon

This is my Recon. It is pump action and it has a power stock with a LSFG spring. It isn't a powerful spring but it is good enough. On the inside it has my cpvc breech that accepts clips and the spring compresses more. I also removed all of the locks. I haven't tested the ranges ret but I expect them to be 40-50'. I really like this gun even though it isn't the most powerful.

AWESOME SHARP SHOT MOD + PAINTJOB

I am sorry for the lack of posts. Thanksgiving break was chaotic and I didn't get around to anything. Drev helped me with the Cpvc mod part again but I did the paintjob and came up with the idea. I think this is the first of it's kind by being an internally cpvc'ed Sharp Shot. The paint job is Hunter Green and Metallic Gold. It is very evenly applied and looks factory.

Thanks Again!

Thank you so much! Our blog just surpassed 500 page views. I know that it isn't much but I am very happy about it.

My HAMP

This is my HAMP. It is a really awesome type of homemade blaster that doesn't even require a spring.
I added some dart holders to it to make things more convenient. I'm using a 1/2" PVC barrel for it. CPVC didn't work because it was too tight of a fit. PVC works just fine with taggers, sonic micros, and streamlines. Taggers and micros work the best though.

I added a stop made of dowel rod to it so that I don't knock the back off of the whole blaster. The key ring can go on the rod to stop the plunger from falling forward which I really like. I might get around to making an RSCB for it but i'm not sure if I will. I made this blaster purely for fun and I don't plan on using it in any mini wars that I have. I really like how it turned out.

Awesome Big Bad BOw

Hi guys, I just finished my Avengers BBB.
I got the Avengers version because I like the purple color better than yellow. I can always sand off the Avengers logo. I added a stampede spring to it so it is more powerful. I found that a stampede spring is better in the BBB than a nf spring. This is because the stampede spring is longer. I changed the barrel to cpvc and removed the dead space with hot glue. I didn't glue any specific couplers to it and it works fine for me. It has an almost perfect seal too. I made an RSCB clip for it and it can hold 4 streamlines or
8 of my stefans (which are about half the size of streamlines). I plan on testing the ranges very soon. It is really awesome.

Update

Hi guys! Sorry that there haven't been posts for a couple days. I have been really busy lately. I will be posting a BBB mod once I get the BBB and I will be posting an awesome cpvc breech design that iMod helped me with (if I do it right). Aukman should also have some awesome paintjobs coming up too.

Nerf Recon Sale!

I was browsing for black Friday Nerf Gun deals and I found that there are $10 Recons at Walmart. You could buy two of these things for the price of one! This is also a cool opportunity to single a Recon.

Strike Fire Minimization

Here is a pretty really cool minimization. This mod is on a Dart Tag pistol that I minimized. I also did a penny mod to the internals and removed the air restrictors. Later I will spray-paint it silver with a black priming mechanism.

Gun before minimization. (Orange Version)

Gun after minimization. (Green Version)

Drev's Inline Clip Tutorial

Here is a tutorial for my version of an inline clip. I came up with this design yesterday and it works pretty well. It holds three streamlines. It is slightly inconsistent with them, but it will eventually fire all three. These steps are in the captions of the photo.
You need 5.5" of PVC, 2.5" of CPVC, a CPVC to PVC adapter, and some electrical tape.
Bevel out one side of the CPVC with a dremel or scrape it out with scissors and sand the side too.
Hammer the CPVC into the PVC and then put hot glue in between them.
Place some CPVC into the adapter. I already did it in the first picture.
E-tape these parts of the clip.
Put it together like this. Look at my previous article to see how to use it.
Here is the link: http://flynerf.blogspot.com/2012/11/nitefinder-inline-clip.html

Thank You

Thank you so much everybody. We started this blog just this week and we already surpassed 200 views. I am with Aukman right now and he told me to post this. In honor of 200 page views, I will post  a tutorial for my NiteFinder inline clip. It fires streamlines so it is nice for people without stefans. Thanks so much.

Nitefinder Minimization

Another Paintjob/mod was this nitefinder minimization that has a simple gold paintjob but a sweet minimization. In the recent future i will probably cpvc it and give it a green & gold paint job

Recon Paint Job

One of my paint jobs is a simple modded recon with a gold and white paint job on it. The paint job was meant to mimic a gear up gun with cooler colors.

Hi I am......

Hi I am Aukman and I am an author on this page. I will have posts coming about mods and paintjobs. Drev is better with the mods I am better with the paint jobs so expect some to come. p.s. I made the banner @ the top.

NiteFinder Inline Clip

Today I made this inline clip for my NiteFinder. This is what it looks like.

The cpvc to pvc adapter comes off like this.
One dart sticks out of the end when loaded.
Firing the darts is inconsistant sometimes. Sometimes they fire really well and sometimes they get stuck in the barrel. It is usually the second dart that does that. I might change this to hold two darts or three shortened darts so that it becomes more consistant. Other than that, I am happy with it.

Ok, I lied I do have another post today. I found a spring website that I plan on using. I'm not sure if it is trustworthy but it probably is. It lets you customize your own spring to any dimensions and material. It would be really nice for the new Elite guns or any gun for that matter. http://www.springsfast.com/  It looks like a pretty cool site.

Update

Hi guys, I just finished redoing my Nite Finder. I redid the seal and tried a new way to lessen the dead space. It worked really well. I didn't test the ranges yet because it is too dark outside. I will get the ranges as soon as I can. I am also working on cpvc breech with a deodorant clip. I really want it to be a good one. Well, that is it for today unless Aukman finally makes a post.

Night Finder Minimization

My brother, Drev, and I have found a really nice way to minimize the NiteFinder. Drev helped with the seal and the air restrictors, but this is about the minimization. Now with this mod you can really get the pistol/handgun feel to it because it's lighter, smaller, and more visually appealing. If you have a hacksaw at home, go ahead do this mod. Just don't hurt yourself.

Maverick Singled Barrels

Sorry that we have very basic mods on here so far. Here is a very cool one though. This is a maverick with singled barrels. I used epoxy and hot glue. It looks pretty cool without the effort of cpvc.
We will be posting tutorials and reviews soon.

Longshot Front Barrel

This is a cool idea for a Longshot barrel. I don't know why but we used hot glue instead of epoxy. I will be using epoxy later.

Secret Strike AS-1 Cpvc Mod

This is a mod that Aukman did to my Secret Strike. It is way better than when it was stock. It fires all darts pretty well, but Elites fire the best. It gets ranges of up to 35 feet with Elites. It is a great mod and all credit goes to Aukman on this one. It is awesome.

First Recon cpvc breech that I have seen

This is my recon cpvc breech. I didn't have to do much cutting with the cpvc. I just made the opening of the cpvc a bit bigger. It accepts clips and streamlines. I just had extra Recon parts so I interchange them. It is a nice mod and the first of it's kind that I have seen.

Basic Coupler Mod: Showing

This is a basic cpvc coupler mod that I did to my clear NiteFinder. I think it looks pretty good. It is a very common and basic mod, but mine has a great seal. I gets about 50 ft. will sonic micros and about 90-100 with Elites. Note, there is a 6 kg spring from Orange Mod Works in there.
This is the easiest and best design for a NiteFinder speedloader out there.

Hello

Hi, sorry if the website doesn't look at it's best yet. We are going to make it look really nice. In case you don't know, we will post reviews, mod tutorials etc. about Nerf. We are very excited about this blog and we are fairly new to the Nerf community. We will start posting soon.
